The 30" x 60" Center Bottom Outlet DE Element Cover with Gasket (commonly referenced across commercial replacement lines for Hayward, Pentair / Purex, Jacuzzi, and aftermarket manufacturers such as Filbur and Pleatco) is an oversized fabric replacement jacket and perimeter seal kit. It is designed to reskin the structural core of a 30" × 60" center-bottom discharge DE filter grid without replacing the entire large-format plastic frame assembly.
Because of the 5-foot span, the replacement jacket is manufactured from reinforced, chemical- and rot-resistant woven polypropylene/polyester fabric sewn to fit tautly over the core, complete with a reinforced center-bottom hub aperture and an integrated rubber compression gasket to ensure a leak-proof seal into the lower distribution manifold.
