The 48" x 60" Single Bottom Outlet DE Element Cover with Gasket (commonly referenced across commercial replacement lines for Hayward, Pentair / Purex, Jacuzzi, and aftermarket manufacturers like Filbur and Pleatco) is an extra-large fabric replacement jacket and perimeter seal kit. It is designed to reskin the structural core of an oversized 48" × 60" single bottom-discharge DE filter grid without replacing the entire commercial internal skeletal frame.
Due to the substantial 4-foot by 5-foot surface area (yielding ~40 sq. ft. of dual-sided filtration per element), the jacket is fabricated from heavy-duty woven polypropylene/polyester filter cloth. It features reinforced perimeter stitching, a tailored lower port sleeve, and an integrated rubber compression gasket to ensure a leak-free seal into the lower collection hub.
