AC/DC ADAPTER - MOTION TREK

The Spectrum Aquatics AC/DC Adapter – Motion Trek (Part #153606 / Linak Power Supply Adapter) is the OEM external power converter used to deliver regulated direct-current electricity to the off-deck wall-mount battery charging cradle (Part #153605) for the Motion Trek BP 350, Motion Trek BP 400, and cross-compatible Aqua Buddy series pool lifts.

Functional Overview

Engineered to safely bridge standard facility grid power and the lift system’s 24V DC battery architecture, this unit operates exclusively in dry indoor maintenance or storage areas:

• Voltage Conversion & Regulation: Steps down standard 100–240V AC facility line voltage (50/60 Hz) to a regulated 24V DC output calibrated specifically to charge the Linak sealed lead-acid (SLA) 24V battery pack without overcharging or overheating the cells.

• Safety & Wet-Area Compliance: Used strictly off the pool deck in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, which prohibit hardwired high-voltage AC mains near the immediate perimeter of a commercial swimming pool.

• Integrated LED Status Monitoring: Features an illuminated LED diagnostic indicator on the power brick that signals power delivery and charging readiness when mated to the charging cradle.

• Connection Interface: Terminated with a standard 2-prong or 3-prong AC wall plug on the primary side and a specialized molded, keyed low-voltage DC barrel/pin lead on the secondary side to securely mate with the charging station dock.
