ANCHOR ADAPTOR 1.9'' ID to 2.375''

The Spectrum Aquatics Anchor Adapter (1.9" ID to 2.375") (Part #28550-00 / #28550) is a specialized structural retrofit fitting designed to install modern commercial pool lifts into pre-existing, smaller-diameter deck sockets.

Functional Overview

Standard commercial pool lifts in the Spectrum line—such as the Motion Trek BP 350, Motion Trek BP 400, Freedom, and Aspen—require a 2.375-inch (2-3/8" OD) post anchor socket. Many existing aquatic facilities, however, have legacy 1.90-inch OD stanchion, ladder, or handrail sockets already embedded in their concrete deck.

This adapter bridges that size discrepancy without requiring concrete demolition or core drilling:

• Retrofit Sleeve Design: The lower stanchion post inserts directly into the existing 1.90-inch ID deck socket, while the enlarged upper receiver accepts the lift’s 2.375-inch mast.

• Deck Elevation Note: Because the larger receiver sits on top of the deck sleeve, installing this adapter elevates the lift mast approximately 6 inches higher than standard direct-deck embedment, which should be accounted for when verifying pool wall clearance and water draft depth.

• Corrosion Resistance: Machined from heavy-gauge passivated 304/316 marine-grade stainless steel to resist chlorine, bromine, and salt generator corrosion while withstanding high cantilever loads.

• Equipotential Continuity: Designed to maintain solid metal-to-metal contact with the existing bonded deck socket to satisfy NEC equipotential bonding regulations.
