The Aqua Creek Neptune / Nebula Wood Deck Anchor Kit (Part #F-05NEP-W / #F-05NEB-W) is a heavy-duty structural mounting system engineered specifically to anchor the Neptune, Nebula, and their respective Nano spa lifts onto wooden or composite decks surrounding elevated spas and hot tubs.

Functional Overview

Unlike concrete core-drill sleeves, this assembly is designed to anchor the lift by clamping through the deck boards and sub-framing. Because spa lifts must lift users up and over elevated hot tub walls (often 40 inches or taller), they generate substantial dynamic torque and cantilever forces at the mounting base.

Fabricated entirely from marine-grade 304/316 stainless steel to prevent rust and corrosion in humid, warm spa environments, the kit features a heavy-gauge under-deck backing plate, long threaded through-bolts, washers, and nylon-insert lock nuts. During installation, the bolts pass through the upper deck mount, through the wooden deck surface, and through the joists to sandwich the structure against the lower backing plate. This distributes the structural load across multiple framing joists to prevent wood tear-out or localized deck deflection. The kit also includes an integrated bonding lug to satisfy NEC equipotential bonding safety requirements.
