The Aqua Creek Ranger 2 / Admiral Wood Deck Anchor Kit (Part #F-046WDA) is an engineered structural mounting system designed specifically to install the Ranger 2 and Admiral pool and spa lifts onto wooden or composite decks, docks, and piers.

Functional Overview

Unlike standard flush concrete sleeves, this kit is configured to secure the lift's baseplate to framed deck structures by clamping through the walking surface and sub-framing. The assembly is fabricated from marine-grade 304 or 316 stainless steel to withstand outdoor exposure, humidity, and splash-out from chemically treated pool water without rusting.

The system relies on heavy-gauge stainless steel backing plates (or under-deck support plates) paired with high-tensile threaded through-bolts, heavy washers, and lock nuts. During installation, the bolts pass completely through the deck boards and joist framing, sandwiching the timber between the lift base and the bottom backing plates. This design evenly distributes mechanical leverage and cantilever loads across multiple structural joists, preventing point-load tear-out and maintaining full ADA load-bearing stability. Like other commercial anchor kits, it includes integrated bonding hardware to satisfy NEC equipotential bonding requirements.
