The Hayward Clear Lid O‑Ring 8 in is a simple but critical sealing component used with certain pool or spa filter housings or pump strainer covers that have an 8‑inch clear lid. The O‑ring sits in a groove between the clear lid and the filter/pump housing and — when the lid is closed and secured — compresses to create a watertight, pressure‑tight seal.
