HANDSET - MOTION TREK

The Spectrum Aquatics Handset - Motion Trek (Part #153608 / Linak series pendant) is the OEM submersible user control wand engineered specifically for the Motion Trek BP 350 and BP 400 series commercial pool lifts (as well as cross-compatible Aspen, Freedom, and Aqua Buddy models).

Functional Overview

Designed to meet strict ADA Title III requirements for autonomous, single-handed operation, this handheld remote allows swimmers or attending staff to operate the lift independently from both the pool deck and inside the water:

• Control Interface: Features a 4-button tactile keypad providing intuitive, directional control over vertical elevation (Up/Down) and continuous powered slewing (Left/Right rotation).

• Submersible & Waterproof: Enclosed in a heavy-duty, IPX7/IPX8-rated hermetically sealed elastomer housing that can be fully submerged in pool water without risk of short-circuiting or moisture ingress.

• Ergonomic & ADA Compliant: Operable with a closed fist or minimal finger dexterity, requiring less than 5 pounds of operating force to activate the soft-touch blister buttons.

• Coiled Connecting Cable: Outfitted with an expandable heavy-duty polyurethane coiled cord that extends from approximately 4 feet to over 8 feet, allowing reach from the seat to the water line or deck side.

• Keyed Quick-Disconnect Plug: Terminates in an OEM keyed connector fitted with internal O-ring moisture seals to plug directly into the base of the lift’s Linak control module.
