The Hayward HCF336C 3‑in Collector Assembly is the internal water‑collection manifold used in the bottom of a 36" filter from the HCF Series 36" Commercial Fiberglass Sand Filter. Once water has passed down through the sand media — trapping debris and particles — the collector assembly gathers the cleaned water via its network of slotted laterals or collection ports, then channels it upward through the standpipe and out of the filter housing. Its construction uses durable, pool‑grade materials (chemical‑resistant PVC/ABS and molded fiberglass shell) to resist corrosion and wear in pool or spa conditions, supporting long‑term reliability.
