The Jandy Levolor Dual-Style Sensor with 300-Foot Cable (Model S-2046E / Part # R0658303) is an ultra-long-distance, multi-configuration electronic water level detection probe designed for large commercial complexes, estate pools, public fountains, and perimeter-overflow systems where the equipment pad is located up to 300 feet away from the water vessel.

The dual-style assembly includes mounting hardware that adapts to either an in-skimmer throat mount or an external vertical PVC static standpipe. It utilizes solid-state stainless steel contact pins rather than mechanical floats, sensing water presence via electrical conductivity with no moving parts to bind, corrode, or scale over. When the water level recedes below the lower sensor pin, the open circuit signals the Levolor control box (such as the K-1100 series) to begin water replenishment after its programmed wave-delay damping interval.

Installation Methods

  • Skimmer Throat Mount: Secure the probe to the clean interior sidewall of the skimmer throat below the weir gate using the included mounting bracket and adhesive/screws. Position the lower contact pin at the desired fill trigger level (typically midpoint of the skimmer opening). Route the 300-foot shielded cable out through the skimmer's top access or deck port into dedicated low-voltage conduit.

  • Standpipe (Static Pipe) Mount: Install the sensor into the provided compression collar assembly atop a dedicated 1" or 2" vertical PVC static standpipe plumbed below the pool waterline. Slide the probe vertically to calibrate the low-water trip depth, hand-tighten the compression collar to secure it, and pull the 300-foot lead through conduit to the control panel.
