The Jandy Levolor Half-Moon Style 2-Contact Sensor with 50-Foot Cable (Model S-200-50 / Part # R0658500) is an electronic water level detection probe contoured specifically for curved skimmer throat installations. It is paired with Jandy Levolor automatic water level controllers (such as the K-1100 single-zone fill systems) for in-ground swimming pools and spas.

Its semi-circular "half-moon" molded body sits flush against the curved interior wall of standard pool skimmers, eliminating the need to plumb an external static standpipe or drill through the pool shell. Two solid-state stainless steel contact pins sense water presence through electrical continuity. When the water line recedes below the lower contact pin, the open circuit alerts the Levolor control box to initiate a fill cycle after an integrated wave-delay filter.

Skimmer Installation Overview

  1. Mounting Position: Clean the inner sidewall of the skimmer throat below the weir door opening.

  2. Height Setting: Affix the sensor so the bottom contact tip sits exactly at your desired low-water fill line (typically halfway up the skimmer opening).

  3. Cable Routing: Thread the 50-foot shielded lead through the skimmer's auxiliary/deck port into dedicated electrical conduit leading to the equipment pad.

  4. PCB Connection: Terminate the two sensor wires onto the low-voltage sensor terminals on the Levolor main board.
