The Jandy Levolor Slip-Style 2-Contact Sensor with 100-Foot Cable (Model S-100-100 / Part # R0658401) is a commercial-grade electronic liquid-level detection probe designed for standpipe (static well) installations requiring an extended wiring run back to the equipment pad. It is paired with Jandy Levolor electronic water level controllers (such as the K-1100 series single-zone fill systems) for swimming pools, spas, fountains, and vanishing-edge surge tanks where an in-skimmer sensor is impractical or surface wave action must be isolated.

The sensor eliminates mechanical floats that can jam, scale over, or stick. It features an 18-inch rigid PVC probe assembly with dual solid-state stainless steel contact pins that slide directly into a 1-inch or 2-inch PVC static standpipe plumbed to the body of water. When the water level drops below the bottom pin, the circuit opens, signaling the controller to actuate the fill valve after an integrated wave-delay filter.

Standpipe Installation Summary

  1. Plumb the Static Well: Connect a vertical PVC static pipe to the pool wall or equalizer line below the waterline to maintain identical water height without surface chop.

  2. Affix Top Slip Fitting: Glue the remote sensor compression adapter onto the top opening of the standpipe.

  3. Calibrate Depth: Slide the 18" probe down into the tube until the contact tip aligns with your desired fill trigger point, then tighten the compression collar to secure it in place.

  4. Pull Wiring: Run the 100-foot shielded cable through dedicated electrical conduit to the Levolor control enclosure and connect the two conductor leads to the sensor terminals on the PCB.
