The Jandy Levolor S3040C18 (Part # R0658404) is an 18-inch, 3-contact slip-style electronic water level sensor assembly equipped with a 100-foot cable. It is designed for vertical static standpipe installations and provides multi-level water sensing for advanced Levolor control systems.

By using three staggered stainless steel contacts rather than two, the sensor monitors two independent water thresholds—typically paired with dual-action controllers such as the K-2000 (normal fill plus high-water cutoff/overflow relay) or K-2100 (normal fill plus low-water pump cutoff protection).

Standpipe Installation Summary

  1. Static Pipe Setup: Plumb a vertical PVC pipe (1" or 2") tied into the pool equalizer line or main drain plumbing below the operational waterline to provide an undisturbed, wave-damped water column.

  2. Mount Slip Collar: Solvent-weld the included compression housing adapter fitting directly onto the top rim of the standpipe.

  3. Calibrate Sensing Depth: Slide the 18-inch probe down into the tube until the contacts sit at your target elevations (the lowest contact serves as the reference ground, while the upper pins trigger fill and safety alarm thresholds). Hand-tighten the compression nut to secure depth.

  4. Run Wiring: Pull the 100-foot shielded lead through dedicated low-voltage electrical conduit back to the equipment pad and connect the three conductors to the designated sensor terminals on the Levolor circuit board.
