The Jandy Levolor Slip-Style 3-Contact 18" Sensor with 50-Foot Cable (Model S-100-3-50 / Part # R0658403) is a multi-threshold electronic water level sensing assembly engineered for standpipe (static well) installations. Unlike standard 2-contact fill sensors that only detect a single target waterline, this probe features three staggered solid-state stainless steel contacts to monitor two discrete operating thresholds—typically paired with dual-action controllers like the K-2000 (normal fill + high-water overflow protection) or K-2100 (normal fill + low-water pump cutoff protection).

The sensor assembly features an 18-inch rigid PVC probe body designed to slide into a dedicated 1-inch or 2-inch PVC static standpipe plumbed to the pool, fountain, or vanishing-edge catch basin.

Standpipe Installation Summary

  1. Plumb the Static Well: Connect a vertical PVC static standpipe into a pool equalizer line or low-point plumbing below the operating waterline so the pipe mimics the pool surface while damping waves.

  2. Mount Top Slip Collar: Solvent-weld the compression housing adapter fitting onto the top opening of the standpipe.

  3. Calibrate Depth: Slide the 18-inch probe down into the tube so the lowest contact rests at the reference/fill cutoff point and the upper or offset contact aligns with the alarm threshold (high surge or low-water safety). Hand-tighten the compression nut to lock vertical height.

  4. Pull Leads to Controller: Run the 50-foot shielded cable through dedicated electrical conduit back to the equipment pad and land the three conductor leads on the corresponding sensor terminals on the Levolor PCB.
