The Spectrum Aquatics Motion Trek Rotational Motor Assembly is the OEM electro-mechanical drive subsystem responsible for powering the continuous 360-degree rotation of the Motion Trek BP 350 and BP 400 series commercial pool lifts.

Functional Overview

Working in tandem with the primary vertical linear actuator, this assembly provides controlled, powered horizontal slewing to transfer the user smoothly between the pool deck and the water:

• Drive Mechanism: Features a low-voltage (24V DC) high-torque gearmotor integrated with a dedicated drive pinion/sprocket or worm gear system designed to engage the mast rotation ring.

• Autonomous Control: Connects directly into the lift's central control box harness, responding to directional commands sent from the submersible handheld pendant remote wand.

• Smooth Slew Rate: Engineered to rotate at a controlled, measured speed to prevent sudden jerking or inertia spikes during user transfers, supporting safety under dynamic payloads up to 400 pounds.

• Corrosion & Moisture Protection: Sealed in a water- and chemical-resistant protective housing with heavy-duty internal gaskets to withstand pool water splash-out, chloramine mist, and high-humidity aquatic deck environments.

• Field Replacement: Sourced primarily as a drop-in replacement assembly for lifts experiencing loss of rotational drive, gear binding, or motor electrical failure.
