The Nordesco Plastic Bench 10ft - Sand (standard profile) is an ultra-long commercial freestanding bench engineered for large-scale aquatic facilities, Olympic training venues, school fieldhouses, and high-traffic locker room concourses. Providing 120 inches of continuous seating with a space-efficient 12-to-14-inch seat depth, it accommodates high-density occupant loads while leaving wide clearance for foot traffic and gear transit.

Engineered to withstand heavy dynamic commercial loads and aggressive pool water chemistry:

• Heavy-Duty Polypropylene Slats (Sand): Fabricated from UV-stabilized, high-density virgin thermoplastic slats in an integral "Sand" (warm tan/beige) tone. Chemically inert and non-porous, the material resists chloramine vapor, chlorinated splash-out, body oils, and concentrated sanitizers without warping, rotting, chipping, or splintering.

• Rapid Drainage & Airflow: Longitudinal drainage slots direct splash-out, shower runoff, and washdown spray straight through to the deck drains below, eliminating standing surface puddles, speeding evaporation, and preserving wet-traction slip resistance.

• Reinforced Multi-Pedestal Understructure: Supported by five to six heavy-duty upright pedestal frames made from reinforced structural polymer or passivated stainless steel. This dense multi-post layout eliminates center-span sagging across the 120-inch run and distributes dynamic occupant loads safely across the deck.

• Deck Protection: Fitted with non-marking, chemical-resistant rubber/urethane foot pads that protect wet tile, plaster, epoxy, and acrylic deck coatings from abrasion, scuffing, or gouging.
