NORDESCO Wall Mount Bench 3ft - Sand

The Nordesco 3-Foot Wall-Mount Bench (Sand) is a compact commercial cantilevered bench engineered for high-moisture facilities where floor clearance is critical and a warmer, earth-tone architectural aesthetic is specified. It is commonly installed in private family changing suites, ADA transfer vestibules, aquatic therapy stalls, and compact natatorium transition niches.

Functional Overview & Materials

Designed for sanitary, space-efficient seating without any deck contact:

• Polypropylene Slat Platform (Sand): Fabricated from UV-stabilized, non-porous virgin thermoplastic slats in a neutral "Sand" (tan/beige) finish. The chemically inert composite will not chip, splinter, rot, or absorb pool chloramines, sweat, body oils, or harsh chemical disinfectants.

• Rapid Drainage & Airflow: Longitudinal drainage spacing allows pool splash-out and washdown spray to drain directly through to floor drains, preventing surface puddling and speeding evaporation.

• Corrosion-Resistant Cantilever Frame: Supported by two heavy-gauge, electropolished 304 or 316 stainless steel triangular cantilever brackets that anchor directly into the wall, completely eliminating floor pedestals.

• Unobstructed Floor Sanitation: Elevating the seating platform off the deck enables automated floor scrubbers, squeegees, and pressure washers to clean straight to the wall base without catching on furniture legs or harboring bacteria.

• Bench Depth / Seat Width: Approximately 12 to 14 inches (approx. 30.5 to 35.5 cm) projection from the finished wall face.

• Load Rating: Rated for 450 to 550 pounds (204 to 249 kg) uniformly distributed commercial working load when anchored according to factory torque specs into solid poured concrete, grouted CMU block, or heavy in-wall structural blocking.

• Bracket Count: 2 heavy-duty stainless steel cantilever brackets with pre-drilled flange holes sized for 3/8" or 1/2" commercial masonry fasteners or through-bolts.
