The Nordesco Wide Plastic Bench 12ft - Grey is the maximum continuous-span freestanding commercial bench in the Nordesco wide-profile series. Engineered for massive-capacity aquatic and athletic venues—such as Olympic-scale natatoriums, university athletic centers, and central locker room thoroughfares—it provides 144 inches of heavy-duty, deep-profile seating designed to support multi-person occupancy and equipment staging in high-humidity wet environments.

Engineered to withstand heavy dynamic commercial loads and aggressive pool water chemistry:

• High-Impact Virgin Polypropylene Slats: Assembled from UV-stabilized, high-density thermoplastic slats in neutral grey. The solid, non-porous structure is impervious to chloramine vapor, chlorinated splash-out, body oils, and concentrated sanitizers, completely eliminating splintering, rusting, rotting, and fungal buildup.

• Deep Seating Geometry: Features an expanded 18-to-20-inch seating depth (versus standard 12-to-14-inch benches), providing an exceptionally stable platform for athletes handling bulky swim gear, parent-child staging, or physical therapy transfers.

• Continuous Drainage Channeling: Spaced longitudinal slots direct splash-out, shower runoff, and washdown water straight through to the deck drainage system, eliminating standing surface puddles and accelerating air drying.

• Reinforced Multi-Pedestal Understructure: Supported by six to seven structural upright pedestal frames made from reinforced structural polymer or passivated stainless steel.
