NORDESCO Wide Plastic Bench 4ft - Grey

The Nordesco Wide Plastic Bench 3ft - Grey is a heavy-duty commercial bench designed for high-humidity natatorium decks, locker room dressing aisles, therapy suites, and aquatic staging areas. Featuring an expanded seat depth, it provides superior seated stability, making it ideal for patrons transitioning in wet gear or requiring a wider support base.

Functional Overview & Materials

Engineered to withstand harsh aquatic environments and concentrated chemical washdowns without physical or aesthetic degradation:

• Expanded Slatted Polypropylene Platform: Formed from high-density, UV-stabilized virgin thermoplastic slats in neutral grey. The solid, non-porous structure is impervious to chloramine vapor, pool splash-out, sweat, and hospital-grade sanitizers, eliminating concerns of splintering, rotting, or fungal growth.

• Deep Seating Geometry: At 18 to 20 inches deep, it offers significantly more sitting area than narrow 12-to-14-inch perimeter benches, providing better balance for seated physical therapy transfers and locker staging.

• Continuous Drainage Channeling: Longitudinal drainage slots allow water to pass straight through, eliminating surface puddles and accelerating evaporation in barefoot and high-traffic splash zones.

• Rigid Base Substructure: Supported by a reinforced, wide-stance polymer or electropolished stainless steel frame fitted with non-marking, slip-resistant rubber/urethane feet to protect delicate tile, epoxy, or coated concrete deck finishes.
