The Pentair 29" ProVac Commercial Vacuum Head is a wide‑body, heavy‑duty vacuum designed to clean large pool floors quickly and evenly. Its unique suction chamber distributes vacuum power uniformly across the entire 29‑inch width, improving debris pickup and reducing the number of passes needed. Full‑width flex strips help guide dirt directly into the suction path, while multiple adjustable wheels allow you to fine‑tune height and maneuverability for different pool surfaces. The flexible body contours to slopes and curves, and built‑in weights keep the head firmly pressed against the floor for consistent suction. With a durable construction and a swivel metal handle for smooth movement, it’s built for demanding commercial use where speed, coverage, and reliability matter.

Just like the 22" version, the massive Pentair 29" ProVac Commercial Vacuum Head has no motor, battery, or electrical components. It requires zero electricity on its own.

Its "power source" is entirely mechanical, relying on a combination of suction from your pool's commercial filtration pump and manual physical propulsion.

Because this is a massive 29-inch commercial tool, the power dynamics look like this:

  • The Primary Mover: It requires a high-capacity commercial pool pump to create enough flow to effectively utilize the extra-wide 29-inch cleaning path.

  • The Suction Force: You attach a heavy-duty 1.5-inch or 2-inch commercial vacuum hose to the pivoting suction port, connecting the other end to a pool skimmer or dedicated suction line. The pump's suction creates a high-velocity vacuum across the head's unique suction chambers to pull up large volumes of debris.

  • The Propulsion Source: This unit is heavily weighted to prevent it from floating or lifting off the pool floor under extreme commercial pump suction. Because it has no automated tracks or drive motors, the propulsion is 100% manual. You snap a commercial telescoping pole into the handle and physically guide it across the pool floor.
