The Pentair Boost-Rite® or standard 3/4 HP Booster Pump is a specialized, compact pressure-enhancing unit designed specifically to power automatic pressure-side pool cleaners with maximum efficiency. Engineered for dual-voltage operation on either 115V or 230V circuits, this pump does not circulate the pool water for filtration but instead takes filtered water and boosts the pressure to the high levels required for the cleaner's venturi jets to operate effectively.
