The Pentair SD40 Standpipe Assembly (Part #152228) is a complete central piping and hub component engineered for the Pentair Sand Dollar SD40 Aboveground 19-Inch Sand Filter as well as the Sta-Rite Cristal-Flo II 19-Inch Sand Filter (specifically units manufactured after October 2004). Positioned vertically at the true center of the sand tank, this rigid PVC column acts as the main hydraulic conduit that returns pristine, filtered water back to the pool return lines. The assembly comes pre-equipped with an integrated bottom collector hub and a full set of six slotted lateral fingers that fan out across the base of the tank to pull in clear water while keeping the filter media completely contained.
