The Pentair TR100 Air Relief Tube (part number 154468 or 154468Z) is a specialized internal safety and air-management component engineered exclusively for the Pentair Triton II TR100 side-mount fiberglass pool and spa sand filter. This slender, elongated vinyl tube runs vertically alongside the internal standpipe assembly, extending from the bottom collector hub to the absolute highest apex of the filter tank dome. Its primary structural function is to provide a dedicated exhaust pathway that automatically and continuously bleeds off trapped air pockets that naturally accumulate at the top of the pressurized tank during pump filtration cycles.
