The Pool Link 500 Series Probe Chamber - 4 Probe is an expanded, commercial-grade bypass flow cell manifold engineered to house four analytical sensors simultaneously. Plumbed into an auxiliary bypass line across the main pool recirculation loop, it provides a stable, low-turbulence sampling environment for complex commercial aquatic systems—typically accommodating combination pH, platinum-band ORP, temperature, and either an amperometric Free Available Chlorine (FAC) or nephelometric turbidity sensor in a single, compact acrylic block.
System Overview & Hardware Architecture
Designed for high-bather-load commercial facilities, competition aquatic centers, and municipal water venues requiring comprehensive water chemistry and clarity monitoring:
-
Clear Machined Acrylic Solid-Block Body: Precision-machined from a single block of heavy cast acrylic. The optical-grade clarity permits direct visual inspection of internal flow conditions, air bubble entrapment, and probe membrane fouling across all four sensing wells without system depressurization.
-
Four-Port In-Line Chamber Design: Positions four analytical probes in a continuous hydraulic sequence optimized to deliver equal sample exchange rates while isolating sensor junctions to prevent chemical cross-contamination or electrical signal cross-talk.
-
Inlet Flow-Regulating Needle Valve: Fine-threaded, chemical-resistant metering valve located at the sample intake to throttle line pressure and maintain stable, laminar flow across fragile sensing tips, preventing cavitation and velocity impingement.
-
Manual Calibration Petcock: Integrated low-pressure sample valve positioned adjacent to the probe chambers, allowing operators to draw representative pool water for routine photometer, DPD colorimetric, or titrimetric verification tests.
-
Rigid Backboard Mounting: Rear drilled and tapped mounting holes facilitate direct attachment to an equipment backboard, Unistrut channel, or equipment room wall.
